Academic Review

Dietary Internship Study
Systematic Review of data collected from research on how different modes of exercise physiologically interact with symptoms and preceding medical conditions related to the menopausal transition. This systematic review was adapted into a presentation and delivered to an intervention project focused on a group of perimenopausal women and symptom management from a multitude of perspectives.

Kinesiology Research and Data Collection Experience
Courses within the Kinesiology Program at the University of Guelph-Humber includes developing systematic reviews and condensing information into poster format. These posters are then brought in and presented to professors, peers, and interested faculty and staff. Building systematic reviews within coursework often is paired with peer partnerships and collaboration for developing skills in communication.
